Scolari is the New Boss ???
Welcoma Scolari.. Since Jose walk away from the stamford Bridge.i always sai. Scolari or Erikcson will take over the the place.. but it just a rumors until this article come out last nite.I'm quite suprise.. I love the way he manages the teams.He form the more on the tactical rather than the individual skills. What more can i say, "WELCOME BOSS"
Chelsea are looking forward to a new era under Luis Felipe Scolari after the World Cup-winning Portugal boss was confirmed as the club's new manager.
Although Scolari, who won the sport's biggest prize with his native Brazil in 2002, was hotly tipped to succeed Avram Grant at Stamford Bridge it was believed that no formal announcement would be made until after Portugal's Euro 2008 campaign was at an end. Chelsea said in a statement: 'Chelsea Football Club is delighted to confirm that Luiz Felipe Scolari will be the club's new manager from July 1, 2008. 'Felipe has great qualities. He is one of the world's top coaches with a record of success at country and club level, he gets the best out of a talented squad of players and his ambitions and expectations match ours. 'He was the outstanding choice. 'Out of respect for his current role as head coach of the Portuguese national team, and to ensure minimum disruption to this work, there will be no further comment from Chelsea FC nor from Felipe about his new role until his employment with us commences.'
Despite a number of big-name managers being linked with the job following Grant's sacking last month, PA Sport understands Scolari was always Chelsea's number one choice and there was never an agreement with anyone else. He is likely to be unveiled during the first week of July, at which time the details of his contract will also be revealed. Scolari's appointment comes less than a week after he insisted he would not discuss his future until after Euro 2008. He said at the time: 'What's going to happen to me after Euro 2008 - if I am going to stay or leave - concerns (only) me and I am not going to talk about it now. 'If I decide to leave or stay, I am only going to make a public declaration at the end of Euro 2008.' Scolari's biggest achievement was leading Brazil to World Cup glory in 2002 and he famously turned down the chance to manage England following Sven-Goran Eriksson's departure in 2006. The 59-year-old has no experience of managing at club level in Europe.
Before becoming an international manager, he enjoyed success at club level in Brazil, winning South America's equivalent of the Champions League - the Copa Libertadores - with two different clubs. Holla... i wake up early in the morning today.. I had interview at Jalan Raja Laut. i get to shah alam launch hours. I had my lunch with my classmate.. Abstract
Because on-line search databases typically contain only abstracts, it is vital to write a complete but concise description of your work to entice potential readers into obtaining a copy of the full paper. This article describes how to write a good computer architecture abstract for both conference and journal papers. Writers should follow a checklist consisting of: motivation, problem statement, approach, results, and conclusions. Following this checklist should increase the chance of people taking the time to obtain and read your complete paper.
Introduction
Now that the use of on-line publication databases is prevalent, writing a really good abstract has become even more important than it was a decade ago. Abstracts have always served the function of "selling" your work. But now, instead of merely convincing the reader to keep reading the rest of the attached paper, an abstract must convince the reader to leave the comfort of an office and go hunt down a copy of the article from a library (or worse, obtain one after a long wait through inter-library loan). In a business context, an "executive summary" is often the only piece of a report read by the people who matter; and it should be similar in content if not tone to a journal paper abstract.
Checklist: Parts of an Abstract
Despite the fact that an abstract is quite brief, it must do almost as much work as the multi-page paper that follows it. In a computer architecture paper, this means that it should in most cases include the following sections. Each section is typically a single sentence, although there is room for creativity. In particular, the parts may be merged or spread among a set of sentences. Use the following as a checklist for your next abstract:
* Motivation:
Why do we care about the problem and the results? If the problem isn't obviously "interesting" it might be better to put motivation first; but if your work is incremental progress on a problem that is widely recognized as important, then it is probably better to put the problem statement first to indicate which piece of the larger problem you are breaking off to work on. This section should include the importance of your work, the difficulty of the area, and the impact it might have if successful.
* Problem statement:
What problem are you trying to solve? What is the scope of your work (a generalized approach, or for a specific situation)? Be careful not to use too much jargon. In some cases it is appropriate to put the problem statement before the motivation, but usually this only works if most readers already understand why the problem is important.
* Approach:
How did you go about solving or making progress on the problem? Did you use simulation, analytic models, prototype construction, or analysis of field data for an actual product? What was the extent of your work (did you look at one application program or a hundred programs in twenty different programming languages?) What important variables did you control, ignore, or measure?
* Results:
What's the answer? Specifically, most good computer architecture papers conclude that something is so many percent faster, cheaper, smaller, or otherwise better than something else. Put the result there, in numbers. Avoid vague, hand-waving results such as "very", "small", or "significant." If you must be vague, you are only given license to do so when you can talk about orders-of-magnitude improvement. There is a tension here in that you should not provide numbers that can be easily misinterpreted, but on the other hand you don't have room for all the caveats.
* Conclusions:
What are the implications of your answer? Is it going to change the world (unlikely), be a significant "win", be a nice hack, or simply serve as a road sign indicating that this path is a waste of time (all of the previous results are useful). Are your results general, potentially generalizable, or specific to a particular case?
Other Considerations
An abstract must be a fully self-contained, capsule description of the paper. It can't assume (or attempt to provoke) the reader into flipping through looking for an explanation of what is meant by some vague statement. It must make sense all by itself. Some points to consider include:
* Meet the word count limitation. If your abstract runs too long, either it will be rejected or someone will take a chainsaw to it to get it down to size. Your purposes will be better served by doing the difficult task of cutting yourself, rather than leaving it to someone else who might be more interested in meeting size restrictions than in representing your efforts in the best possible manner. An abstract word limit of 150 to 200 words is common.
* Any major restrictions or limitations on the results should be stated, if only by using "weasel-words" such as "might", "could", "may", and "seem".
* Think of a half-dozen search phrases and keywords that people looking for your work might use. Be sure that those exact phrases appear in your abstract, so that they will turn up at the top of a search result listing.
* Usually the context of a paper is set by the publication it appears in (for example, IEEE Computer magazine's articles are generally about computer technology). But, if your paper appears in a somewhat un-traditional venue, be sure to include in the problem statement the domain or topic area that it is really applicable to.
* Some publications request "keywords". These have two purposes. They are used to facilitate keyword index searches, which are greatly reduced in importance now that on-line abstract text searching is commonly used. However, they are also used to assign papers to review committees or editors, which can be extremely important to your fate. So make sure that the keywords you pick make assigning your paper to a review category obvious (for example, if there is a list of conference topics, use your chosen topic area as one of the keyword tuples).
Conclusion
Writing an efficient abstract is hard work, but will repay you with increased impact on the world by enticing people to read your publications. Make sure that all the components of a good abstract are included in the next one you write.

Chelsea's Lampard granted compassionate leave
Chelsea will give Frank Lampard all the time he needs to grieve following the death of his mother.
The Blues face a Barclays Premier League title showdown against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge tomorrow lunchtime but look set to be without one of their key men. England international Lampard, 29, missed the recent Premier League games against Wigan and Everton after his 58-year-old mother, Pat, was admitted to hospital with pneumonia.He then resumed training earlier this week ahead of Tuesday night's Champions League semi-final first leg at Liverpool after she had showed signs of improvement. However, her condition deteriorated rapidly and it was confirmed she had passed away yesterday afternoon. Chelsea are now expected to grant Lampard further compassionate leave to be with his family as they try to come to terms with their loss. It is also uncertain whether he will feature in Wednesday night's Champions League semi-final second leg, with the tie delicately poised at 1-1.
A statement from Chelsea read: 'The club will be offering all the support it can to Frank and his family at this time. 'Everybody at Chelsea Football Club is absolutely devastated to hear the tragic news of the passing away of Pat Lampard, Frank's mother. 'Our sincerest and deepest condolences go out to Frank, his father Frank senior, sisters Natalie and Claire, and to their immediate family and friends. 'Pat was a very familiar face to many people at Chelsea. 'Her unswerving support for her son's career was evident at virtually every game that Frank participated in.
Regardless of where it was being played, she would always be there to watch him with Frank's dad. Pat will be deeply missed by everyone at Chelsea.' Lampard was touched be the support received from his club and other well-wishers. A statement from Lampard's agent, Steve Kutner, read: 'Frank would like to acknowledge and say thank you for the compassion shown to him by the manager Avram Grant and all the staff at Chelsea during what has been a terribly traumatic period for him and his family. 'Frank and his family would also like to thank all the people who have been inundating them with wishes of support.' In Lampard's absence, Germany captain Michael Ballack looks set to have an important role to play in midfield as the Blues seek to close the gap on United, currently three points with three games left to play.
The 31-year-old feels he is in good shape for the final push, after having been forced to sit out the early part of the campaign because of an ankle problem. 'It's always important to be in good shape and at your best at the end of the season, when it's all about the championships,' Ballack said. 'I didn't play for half a year, because of my ankle injury, which is why this season doesn't feel drawn-out to me. 'I feel fit and I'm highly motivated.' Along with Ballack, Andriy Shevchenko also arrived at Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2006.
However, the Ukraine striker has struggled to make an impact for the Blues since his £30million transfer from AC Milan. Reports have linked the 31-year-old with a return to the Rossoneri. Shevchenko's agent Fabio Parisi, though, does not expect Milan to part with any money for the forward. He said: '(AC Milan vice-president Adriano) Galliani has always been very clear when stating that the deal can only be done if Chelsea allow Milan to have the player as a free loan. 'If Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich will give his okay then I think the deal could be done.'

Today's HERO
John Arne Riise
Liverpool again proved their dedication to youth with the signing of 20-year-old Norwegian midfielder, John Arne Riise from AS Monaco on a five-year £4million contract in the summer of 2001.
Riise was subject of much Premiership interest before settling on Liverpool, with both Blackburn and Fulham trying to sign him.
Norway's hottest property can be used in midfield and defence, and was a welcome addition to Gerard Houllier's international brigade with his natural left foot and wing-back capabilities.
Riise joined Monaco in 1998 from Norwegian side Aalesund AK, and went on to become a regular member of the 1999-2000 title-winning Monaco side. However, the youngster fell out of favour with coach Claude Puel after admitting his desire to leave.
He soon became popular among the Anfield crowd for his spectacular goals, especially a rocket of a free-kick against Manchester United at Anfield. His performances were a highlight of Liverpool's season.
For his strong performances, he was rewarded with a new deal in the summer of 2002, signing a contract which will keep him at the club until 2007.
During the 2002/03 season, he made 56 appearances for Liverpool, played eight games for Norway and scored eight goals.
The following campaign was slightly disappointing for the Norweigian, as he didn't find his name on the scoresheet once. However, he still put in several impressive performances for both club and country.
In the 2004/05 season he was a fixture in Rafael Benitez's first-team line-up. He made 62 appearances in all competitions, scoring 8 goals, including two in Liverpool's 5-0 mauling of West Brom and one in their Carling Cup final defeat to Chelsea.
He scored four more times in 2005/06 and he continued this fine form in 2006/07 as played over forty games, scoring five goals along the way.

TOKOH-TOKOH KORPORAT MUSLIM DI ZAMAN KEGEMILANGAN ISLAM
Oleh sebab perniagaan dan perdagangan merupakan fitrah dan keperluan semula jadi manusia, maka sebab itulah ia wujud serentrak dengan kewujudan manusia diatas muka bumi ini. Di dalam tamadun kuno, perniagaan dan perdagangan telah berlaku dalam bentuk pertukaran barang dengan barang yang dianggarkan oleh ahli sejarah bermula kira-kira 50,000 tahun dahulu.
Di dalam masyarakat primitif, kegiatan perdagangan telah pun wujud dengan pesatnya. Batu kulit kerang dan lain-lain telahpun dijadikan sebagai ganti bagi wang. Dalam tamadun kuno pula emas, perak dan tembaga telah digunakan sebagai alat pengganti wang. Penggunaan wang kertas mula diamalkan pada abad ke 13.
Arab Sebelum Islam
Sebelum zaman kelahiran Islam, bangsa Arab telahpun muncul sebagai golongan pedagang yang amat handal yang mempunyai pengalaman, kemahiran dan telah menguasai jalan perdagangan dunia iaitu di Eropah, China, India, Parsi dan Afrika. Semenanjung Tanah Arab tealah menjadi pusat perdagangan dunia yang didatangi oleh pedagang dari seluruh pelosok dunia.
Pedagang Parsi, India dan Rom terpaksa merentasi Laut Merah, Teluk Parsi dan Semenanjung Tanah Arab untuk menjalankan kegiatan perdagangan ketika itu. Justeru itulah pedagang-pedagang Arab menguasai jalan perdagangan ke utara iaitu Palestin dan Syria, ke timur iaitu ke Coromandel, Sri Lanka dan Lautan Hindi, Asia Tenggara, Balkh, Laut Caspia, Laut Hitam dan Laut Merah.
Selepas kemunculan Islam, Mekah telahpun lahir sebagai pusat ibadah yang terpenting di Semenanjung Tanah Arab yang didatangi oleh orang Arab setiap tahun untuk mengerjakan haji. Ia menjadi penting kerana kekuasaan politik kaum Quraisy menjadikan Mekah sebagai pusat ibadat haji yang aman dan selamat dari pertarungan kabilah. Sekaligus Mekah juga muncul sebagai pusat perdagangan ketika mengerjakan haji. Keamanan dan keselamatan di Mekah yang terjamin sebagai pusat ibadat, terselamat dari rompakan dan kecurian serta kecurangan telah menarik ramai pedagang untuk menjalankan perdagangan di situ.
Terdapat beberapa faktor yang membantu Mekah muncul sebagai pusat perdagangan:
a. Kedudukannya yang startegik dari segi geografi dan terletak ditengah-tengah laluan perdagangan dunia. Timur dan barat, utara dan selatan.
b. Pusat pertukaran, import dan eksport serta pusat pengedaran barangan dari seluruh dunia.
c. Pusat perdagangan bebas cukai terhadap semua jenis barangan.
d. Pusat perdagangan yang aman dan tenteram dari sebarang gangguan, rompakan dan kacau bilau.
e. Mekah dikuasai oleh kaum Quraisy yang merupakan kabilah yang paling dihormati serta kabilah yang bertanggungjawab menjaga tempat suci Ka’abah.
f. Pusat untuk mengerjakan ibadat haji yang sentiasa dikunjungi oleh orang Arab dari seluruh dunia.
Kaum Quraisy mendapat tiga keistimewaan yang dimilikinya di Mekah pada ketika itu:
a. Ia dapat menguasai semua kabilah yang lain. Memudahkannya menjalankan pengurusan Ka’abah.
b. Ia memberikan kekuasaan dan keuntungan dalam perdagangan. Kedudukan dan keistimewaan yang dikuasai oleh Quraisy menyebabkan raja-raja negeri jiran sentiasa mewujudkan hubungan baik untuk mendapatkan kebenaran menjalakan perdagangan dan lalu lintas di Semenanjung Tanah Arab.
c. Mendapat peluang untuk mengadakan perjanjian perdagangan yang banyak.
Bangsa Arab menikmati pelbagai keuntungan dan faedah daripada perdagangan. Ia memperkayakan tamadun dan kebudayaan bangsa Arab seperti mengimport khat dari Iraq yang kemudiannya memudahkan bangsa Arab yang menerima Islam untuk membukukan al-Quran. Sedangkan sebelum itu bangsa Arab belum lagi memiliki sebarang tulisan yang standard. Kaum Quraisy akhirnya muncul sebagai golongan yang terpelajar dan maju yang turut meningkatkan pencapaian Mekah sebagai pusat ibadat yang berkat dan perdagangan yang makmur setelah kemunculan Islam.
Sebagai bukti yang menunjukkan perkembangan perdagangan yang pesat sebelum Islam di Semenanjung Tanah Arab, di bawah ini disenaraikan nama-nama pasar yang wujud ketika itu:
a. Zumatul Jandal yang terletak dekat sempadan Syria, hujung utara Hijaz. Ia dibuka setahun sekali iaitu pada tiap-tiap bulan Rabiulawal selama sebulan yang dikunjungi oleh pedagang dari jauh dan dekat.
b. Mushaqqar yang merupakan pusat membeli belah dan pekan yang terletak di Hijar (Bahrain) yang dibuka setahun sekali, dalam bulan Jamadilawal.
c. Suhar iaitu sebuah pekan di Oman yang dibuka selama 15 hari dalam bulan Rejab.
d. Daba yang terletak berhampiran pantai Oman yang dibuka pada setiap hujung bulan Rejab. Ia dikunjungi oleh pedagang dari China dan India disamping dari Semenanjung Tanah Arab.
e. Shihr (Maharah) iaitu pekan yang terletak antara Aden dengan Oman yang terkenal dengan minyak wangi dengan jenama ‘Ambar’. Ia dibuka selama 15 hari pada awal hingga 15hb Syaaban.
f. Aden iaitu pasar yang dikunjungi oleh pedagang dari timur dan selatan yang dibuka pada awal bulan hingga 10hb Ramadhan.
g. San’a iaitu ibu negeri Yaman yang dibuka selama 10 hari, akhir bulan Ramadhan.
h. Rabiyyah iaitu pekan di Hadramaut yang dibuka selama sebulan yang bermula dari 15hb Zulkaedah.
i. Ukaz merupakan sebuah pekan yang terletak di atas pekan Najad yang dibuka mulai 15hb Zulkaedah selama sebulan yang dikunjungi oleh kabilah Quraisy, Kawazin, Ghatafan, Aslam, Ahabish, Adl, al-Haya dan al-Mustaliq.
j. Zul Majaz iaitu pekan kecil yang kedudukannya berdekatan dengan pekan Ukaz yang dibuka selama seminggu, bermula dari awal bulan hingga 7hb Zulhijjah.
k. Mina iaitu pasar kecil yang dibuka sepanjang musim haji sahaja.
l. Nazat iaitu sebuah pasar di Khaibar yang beroperasi selama 20 hari, dari 10 hingga akhir bulan Muharram.
m. Hijr iaitu pekan kecil di Yamamah yang beroperasi selama 20 hari dari 10 hingga akhir bulan Muharram.
Bangsa Arab memiliki begitu banyak pasar sebagai bukti kepesatan perkembangan perdagangan. Mereka juga mempunyai sistem dan jadual kegiatan perdagangan disepanjang tahun. Hal ini sekali lagi membuktikan bahawa mereka merupakan golongan pedagang yang dedikasi dan berjaya.
Zaman Rasulullah SAW.
Belum ada agama yang dapat mengatasi Islam dalam memberikan kedudukan dan keistimewaan pada perdagangan sehingga menyamakannya dengan ibadat sembahyang dan haji asalkan berlunaskan aqidah, syariah dan akhlak. Ia bukan sebadar disarankan dan digalakkan oleh al-Quran secara teori, malah dipraktikkan dalam bentuk alam nyata oleh Rasulullah SAW. Sesunggunhya Rasulullah SAW. dan zamannya merupakan contoh terbaik dalam perlaksanaan ajaran Islam khasnya dalam perdagangan, masyarakat, politik dan sebagainya.
Sesungguhnya semasa baginda diangkat Menjadi Rasul, Mekah telah pun muncul sebagai pusat ibadat dan perdagangan yang terpenting di dunia pada ketika itu. Disamping faktor-faktor yang telah dijelaskan sebelum ini, keadaan alam dan bumi tanah Arab yang kering kontang tidak sesuai untuk kegiatan ekonomi lain kecuali perdagangan. Sebab itulah bangsa Arab memelihara kepentingan perdagangan sebagai menatang minyak yang penuh kerana ia merupakan periuk nasi mereka. Hal ini diakui oleh Allah SWT. Yang bermaksud:
“Oh Tuhan kami, aku telah menetapkan sebilangan daripada keturunanku disebuah lembah kering yang tidak ada tanaman, di dekat rumah suci-Mu.”
Rasulullah SAW. Secara peribadi telah menunjukkan teladan yang terbaik dalam melaksanakan perintah al-Quran agar umatnya rajin bekerja dan kerja itu diterima sebagai sebahagian daripada ibadat asalkan cara, barangan dan perbelanjaannya mendapat keredaan Allah SWT. Baginda membuktikan bidang pertanian iaitu penternakan dan perdagangan sebagai saudagar merupakan sumber rezeki dan pekerjaan yang terbesar dan terpenting
Baginda bernasib baik kerana dipelihara oleh Abu Talib yang merupakan saudagar Arab yang kaya ketika itu yang mengetuai satu kafilah perdagangan. Baginda pernah dibawa untuk menjalankan perdagangan ketika masih berumur 12 tahun. Walaupaun usianya masih muda, tetapi baginda memperlihatkan minat yang amat tinggi dan tidak gentar menghadapi kesukaran serta cabaran.
Ketika Baginda berusia 20 tahun, kemahiran dan pengalaman perdagangannya tidak diragukan lagi apabila beliau telah menjalankan perdagangan sama ada secara kongsi dengan Asy Syaib atau menggunakan modal orang lain iaitu modal Siti Khadijah atau secara berseorangan. Setiap kali perdagangan yang dijalankan oleh Baginda, keuntungan yang lumayan menjadi milik Baginda. Punca kejayaaan perdagangan Baginda ialah kegigihan, dedikasi, kesabaran dan yang lebih utama ialah amanah dan kejujuran sehingga Baginda lebih terkenal sebagai saudagar yang jujur dan amanah iaitu al-Amin. Destinasi perdagangan Baginda ialah Syria, Yaman dan Bahrain.
Zaman Para Sahabat.
Pada zaman para sahabat atau khulafa al-Rasyidin, Islam telahpun berjaya membentuk sebuah kerajaan yang paling kukuh dan paling luas di dunia dari segi wilayahnya. Dengan keamanan dan keluasan wilayah ini, hasil negara Islam begitu banyak dan negara Islam merupakan yang paling makmur di dunia sehingga di zaman Umar al-Khattab sebagai khalifah Islam yang kedua sukar untuk mencari peminta sedekah untuk diberikan wang baitulmal. Dengan kekayaan itu, pembangunan negara Islam dapat dilaksanakan seperti memperbaiki sistem pos, membina banyak rumah tumpangan, membina jalan raya yang lebih baik, jambatan yang lebih kukuh, membina banyak pasar, pelabuhan dan pusat industri.
Madinah, Kufah, Basrah, Fustat, Damsyik, Mosul dan lain-lain telah muncul sebagai pusat perdagangan antarabangsa yang paling sibuk dengan kegiatan perdagangannya. Juga muncul pusat-pusat perindustrian yang mengeluarkan kertas, ulat sutera, tembikar, barang kemas, keluli, barang kulit, permaidani, tekstil dan sebagainya yang dieksport keseluruh dunia.
Abu Bakar al-Siddiq, Walid, Abdul Rahman bin Auf, Haris bin Amr, Abbas dan lain-lain lagi merupakan tokoh-tokoh saudagar Islam yang terkaya yang dihormati dan disegani. Kota raya Baghdad, Fustat, Toledo, Cordova dan lain-lainnya telahpun mempunyai penduduk yang melebihi satu juta orang menjadi saksi kemakmuran dan kepesatan perkembangan perdagangan pada zaman itu. Saudagar-saudagar Islam telah mengembara ke Siberia, Turkistan, Qairawan dan tiada pelosok dunia yang tidak dijelalah oleh mereka. Di samping menjalankan perdagangan, mereka juga menjalankan fungsi yang lebih suci iaitu menyebarkan dakwah Islamiyyah. Jalan perdagangan seluruh dunia dikuasai oleh bangsa Arab sebelum Islam diperkukuhkan lagi oleh Islam di zaman Rasulullah SAW. dan para sahabat.
TOKOH-TOKOH KORPORAT MUSLIM
Ramai sahabat-sahabat Rasulullah s.a.w. yang telah berjaya sebagai pedagang dan peniaga walaupun pada awalnya mereka menghadapi banyak kesukaran dan rintangan. Malah boleh dikatakan bahawa Rasulullah telah berjaya melahirkan satu masyarakat perdagangan yang tumbuh dengan cepat selepas penghijrahan baginda ke Madinah.
Rasulullah sebagai ketua negara telah memberikan motivasi dan galakan kepada rakyat negara Islam dalam hal perdagaangan. Sabda nabi yang bermaksud:
“Didorong atas kamu ialah perniagaan kerana di dalamnya ialah sembilan persepuluh daripada rezeki.
Othman Bin Affan
Beliau merupakan seorang sahabat yang mempunyai latarbelakang pendidikan yang baik dan merupakan di antara sejumlah kecil yang mampu membaca dan menulis di Mekah. Apabila beliau dewasa beliau telah membabitkan diri dengan kegiatan perniagaan dan berjaya memperolehi keuntungan yang banyak.
Apabila beliau berhijrah ke Madinah beliau telah membantu umat Islam yang dalam kesusahan dengan membeli sebuah telaga kepunyaan seorang Yahudi dengan harga 35,000 dirham kerana orang Yahudi tidak membenarkan orang Islam menggunakannya.
Zubair Bin Awwam
Semasa hijrah Rasulullah s.a.w. ke Madinah Zubair telah pergi ke Syria untuk berniaga. Kemudian beliau mengikut jejak Rasulullah s.a.w.ke Madinah dan meninggakan segala hasil perniagaannya di Mekah.
Semasa beberapa tahun di Madinah Zubair hanya memperolehi pendapatan yang sedikit dari bidang pertanian. Dia terpaksa menghadapi banyak rintangan dan dugaan. Kemudian berkat kesabaran dan ketabahan beliau telah memulakan bidang perniagaan dan akhirnya menjadi orang kaya di Madinah.
Abdul Rahman Bin Auf
Beliau merupakan seorang pedagang yang cekap dan pandai berniaga. Beliau merupakan pedagang yang terkaya di Mekah. Apabila beliau memeluk Islam beliau telah meninggalkan segala hartanya dan ikut berhijrah ke Madinah.
Sampai di Madinah beliau terus mencari pasar untuk berniaga dan mampu bersaing dengan golongan pedagang yang sudah lama berdagang disana dan kemudian menjadi kaya.
Pernah seseorang bertanya kepada Abdul Rahman Bin Auf: “Apakah sebabnya maka tuan menjadi kaya?” Abdul Rahman Bin Auf menjawab: “Kerana tiga perkara: Aku tidak pernah menolak keuntungan walaupun sedikit. Aku tidak pernah melambatkan penjualan haiwan daripada orang yang memintanya daripadaku. Dan aku tidak menjual dengan tangguhan pembayaran.”
Dalam satu riwayat dikatakan bahawa Abdul Rahman Bin Auf menjual seribu ekor unta. Dari perniagaan itu beliau hanya mengambil keuntungan dari tali pengikatnya sahaja. Lalu dijualnya setiap tali itu dengan harga satu dirham, maka beliaupun memperolehi keuntungan satu dirham dari seekor unta. Tetapi dalam satu hari beliau berjaya menjual keseluruhan untanya dan memperolehi keuntungan sebanyak seribu dirham.

Oleh sebab perniagaan dan perdagangan merupakan fitrah dan keperluan semula jadi manusia, maka sebab itulah ia wujud serentrak dengan kewujudan manusia diatas muka bumi ini. Di dalam tamadun kuno, perniagaan dan perdagangan telah berlaku dalam bentuk pertukaran barang dengan barang yang dianggarkan oleh ahli sejarah bermula kira-kira 50,000 tahun dahulu.
Di dalam masyarakat primitif, kegiatan perdagangan telah pun wujud dengan pesatnya. Batu kulit kerang dan lain-lain telahpun dijadikan sebagai ganti bagi wang. Dalam tamadun kuno pula emas, perak dan tembaga telah digunakan sebagai alat pengganti wang. Penggunaan wang kertas mula diamalkan pada abad ke 13.
Arab Sebelum Islam
Sebelum zaman kelahiran Islam, bangsa Arab telahpun muncul sebagai golongan pedagang yang amat handal yang mempunyai pengalaman, kemahiran dan telah menguasai jalan perdagangan dunia iaitu di Eropah, China, India, Parsi dan Afrika. Semenanjung Tanah Arab tealah menjadi pusat perdagangan dunia yang didatangi oleh pedagang dari seluruh pelosok dunia.
Pedagang Parsi, India dan Rom terpaksa merentasi Laut Merah, Teluk Parsi dan Semenanjung Tanah Arab untuk menjalankan kegiatan perdagangan ketika itu. Justeru itulah pedagang-pedagang Arab menguasai jalan perdagangan ke utara iaitu Palestin dan Syria, ke timur iaitu ke Coromandel, Sri Lanka dan Lautan Hindi, Asia Tenggara, Balkh, Laut Caspia, Laut Hitam dan Laut Merah.
Selepas kemunculan Islam, Mekah telahpun lahir sebagai pusat ibadah yang terpenting di Semenanjung Tanah Arab yang didatangi oleh orang Arab setiap tahun untuk mengerjakan haji. Ia menjadi penting kerana kekuasaan politik kaum Quraisy menjadikan Mekah sebagai pusat ibadat haji yang aman dan selamat dari pertarungan kabilah. Sekaligus Mekah juga muncul sebagai pusat perdagangan ketika mengerjakan haji. Keamanan dan keselamatan di Mekah yang terjamin sebagai pusat ibadat, terselamat dari rompakan dan kecurian serta kecurangan telah menarik ramai pedagang untuk menjalankan perdagangan di situ.
Terdapat beberapa faktor yang membantu Mekah muncul sebagai pusat perdagangan:
a. Kedudukannya yang startegik dari segi geografi dan terletak ditengah-tengah laluan perdagangan dunia. Timur dan barat, utara dan selatan.
b. Pusat pertukaran, import dan eksport serta pusat pengedaran barangan dari seluruh dunia.
c. Pusat perdagangan bebas cukai terhadap semua jenis barangan.
d. Pusat perdagangan yang aman dan tenteram dari sebarang gangguan, rompakan dan kacau bilau.
e. Mekah dikuasai oleh kaum Quraisy yang merupakan kabilah yang paling dihormati serta kabilah yang bertanggungjawab menjaga tempat suci Ka’abah.
f. Pusat untuk mengerjakan ibadat haji yang sentiasa dikunjungi oleh orang Arab dari seluruh dunia.
Kaum Quraisy mendapat tiga keistimewaan yang dimilikinya di Mekah pada ketika itu:
a. Ia dapat menguasai semua kabilah yang lain. Memudahkannya menjalankan pengurusan Ka’abah.
b. Ia memberikan kekuasaan dan keuntungan dalam perdagangan. Kedudukan dan keistimewaan yang dikuasai oleh Quraisy menyebabkan raja-raja negeri jiran sentiasa mewujudkan hubungan baik untuk mendapatkan kebenaran menjalakan perdagangan dan lalu lintas di Semenanjung Tanah Arab.
c. Mendapat peluang untuk mengadakan perjanjian perdagangan yang banyak.
Bangsa Arab menikmati pelbagai keuntungan dan faedah daripada perdagangan. Ia memperkayakan tamadun dan kebudayaan bangsa Arab seperti mengimport khat dari Iraq yang kemudiannya memudahkan bangsa Arab yang menerima Islam untuk membukukan al-Quran. Sedangkan sebelum itu bangsa Arab belum lagi memiliki sebarang tulisan yang standard. Kaum Quraisy akhirnya muncul sebagai golongan yang terpelajar dan maju yang turut meningkatkan pencapaian Mekah sebagai pusat ibadat yang berkat dan perdagangan yang makmur setelah kemunculan Islam.
Sebagai bukti yang menunjukkan perkembangan perdagangan yang pesat sebelum Islam di Semenanjung Tanah Arab, di bawah ini disenaraikan nama-nama pasar yang wujud ketika itu:
a. Zumatul Jandal yang terletak dekat sempadan Syria, hujung utara Hijaz. Ia dibuka setahun sekali iaitu pada tiap-tiap bulan Rabiulawal selama sebulan yang dikunjungi oleh pedagang dari jauh dan dekat.
b. Mushaqqar yang merupakan pusat membeli belah dan pekan yang terletak di Hijar (Bahrain) yang dibuka setahun sekali, dalam bulan Jamadilawal.
c. Suhar iaitu sebuah pekan di Oman yang dibuka selama 15 hari dalam bulan Rejab.
d. Daba yang terletak berhampiran pantai Oman yang dibuka pada setiap hujung bulan Rejab. Ia dikunjungi oleh pedagang dari China dan India disamping dari Semenanjung Tanah Arab.
e. Shihr (Maharah) iaitu pekan yang terletak antara Aden dengan Oman yang terkenal dengan minyak wangi dengan jenama ‘Ambar’. Ia dibuka selama 15 hari pada awal hingga 15hb Syaaban.
f. Aden iaitu pasar yang dikunjungi oleh pedagang dari timur dan selatan yang dibuka pada awal bulan hingga 10hb Ramadhan.
g. San’a iaitu ibu negeri Yaman yang dibuka selama 10 hari, akhir bulan Ramadhan.
h. Rabiyyah iaitu pekan di Hadramaut yang dibuka selama sebulan yang bermula dari 15hb Zulkaedah.
i. Ukaz merupakan sebuah pekan yang terletak di atas pekan Najad yang dibuka mulai 15hb Zulkaedah selama sebulan yang dikunjungi oleh kabilah Quraisy, Kawazin, Ghatafan, Aslam, Ahabish, Adl, al-Haya dan al-Mustaliq.
j. Zul Majaz iaitu pekan kecil yang kedudukannya berdekatan dengan pekan Ukaz yang dibuka selama seminggu, bermula dari awal bulan hingga 7hb Zulhijjah.
k. Mina iaitu pasar kecil yang dibuka sepanjang musim haji sahaja.
l. Nazat iaitu sebuah pasar di Khaibar yang beroperasi selama 20 hari, dari 10 hingga akhir bulan Muharram.
m. Hijr iaitu pekan kecil di Yamamah yang beroperasi selama 20 hari dari 10 hingga akhir bulan Muharram.
Bangsa Arab memiliki begitu banyak pasar sebagai bukti kepesatan perkembangan perdagangan. Mereka juga mempunyai sistem dan jadual kegiatan perdagangan disepanjang tahun. Hal ini sekali lagi membuktikan bahawa mereka merupakan golongan pedagang yang dedikasi dan berjaya.
Zaman Rasulullah SAW.
Belum ada agama yang dapat mengatasi Islam dalam memberikan kedudukan dan keistimewaan pada perdagangan sehingga menyamakannya dengan ibadat sembahyang dan haji asalkan berlunaskan aqidah, syariah dan akhlak. Ia bukan sebadar disarankan dan digalakkan oleh al-Quran secara teori, malah dipraktikkan dalam bentuk alam nyata oleh Rasulullah SAW. Sesunggunhya Rasulullah SAW. dan zamannya merupakan contoh terbaik dalam perlaksanaan ajaran Islam khasnya dalam perdagangan, masyarakat, politik dan sebagainya.
Sesungguhnya semasa baginda diangkat Menjadi Rasul, Mekah telah pun muncul sebagai pusat ibadat dan perdagangan yang terpenting di dunia pada ketika itu. Disamping faktor-faktor yang telah dijelaskan sebelum ini, keadaan alam dan bumi tanah Arab yang kering kontang tidak sesuai untuk kegiatan ekonomi lain kecuali perdagangan. Sebab itulah bangsa Arab memelihara kepentingan perdagangan sebagai menatang minyak yang penuh kerana ia merupakan periuk nasi mereka. Hal ini diakui oleh Allah SWT. Yang bermaksud:
“Oh Tuhan kami, aku telah menetapkan sebilangan daripada keturunanku disebuah lembah kering yang tidak ada tanaman, di dekat rumah suci-Mu.”
Rasulullah SAW. Secara peribadi telah menunjukkan teladan yang terbaik dalam melaksanakan perintah al-Quran agar umatnya rajin bekerja dan kerja itu diterima sebagai sebahagian daripada ibadat asalkan cara, barangan dan perbelanjaannya mendapat keredaan Allah SWT. Baginda membuktikan bidang pertanian iaitu penternakan dan perdagangan sebagai saudagar merupakan sumber rezeki dan pekerjaan yang terbesar dan terpenting
Baginda bernasib baik kerana dipelihara oleh Abu Talib yang merupakan saudagar Arab yang kaya ketika itu yang mengetuai satu kafilah perdagangan. Baginda pernah dibawa untuk menjalankan perdagangan ketika masih berumur 12 tahun. Walaupaun usianya masih muda, tetapi baginda memperlihatkan minat yang amat tinggi dan tidak gentar menghadapi kesukaran serta cabaran.
Ketika Baginda berusia 20 tahun, kemahiran dan pengalaman perdagangannya tidak diragukan lagi apabila beliau telah menjalankan perdagangan sama ada secara kongsi dengan Asy Syaib atau menggunakan modal orang lain iaitu modal Siti Khadijah atau secara berseorangan. Setiap kali perdagangan yang dijalankan oleh Baginda, keuntungan yang lumayan menjadi milik Baginda. Punca kejayaaan perdagangan Baginda ialah kegigihan, dedikasi, kesabaran dan yang lebih utama ialah amanah dan kejujuran sehingga Baginda lebih terkenal sebagai saudagar yang jujur dan amanah iaitu al-Amin. Destinasi perdagangan Baginda ialah Syria, Yaman dan Bahrain.
Zaman Para Sahabat.
Pada zaman para sahabat atau khulafa al-Rasyidin, Islam telahpun berjaya membentuk sebuah kerajaan yang paling kukuh dan paling luas di dunia dari segi wilayahnya. Dengan keamanan dan keluasan wilayah ini, hasil negara Islam begitu banyak dan negara Islam merupakan yang paling makmur di dunia sehingga di zaman Umar al-Khattab sebagai khalifah Islam yang kedua sukar untuk mencari peminta sedekah untuk diberikan wang baitulmal. Dengan kekayaan itu, pembangunan negara Islam dapat dilaksanakan seperti memperbaiki sistem pos, membina banyak rumah tumpangan, membina jalan raya yang lebih baik, jambatan yang lebih kukuh, membina banyak pasar, pelabuhan dan pusat industri.
Madinah, Kufah, Basrah, Fustat, Damsyik, Mosul dan lain-lain telah muncul sebagai pusat perdagangan antarabangsa yang paling sibuk dengan kegiatan perdagangannya. Juga muncul pusat-pusat perindustrian yang mengeluarkan kertas, ulat sutera, tembikar, barang kemas, keluli, barang kulit, permaidani, tekstil dan sebagainya yang dieksport keseluruh dunia.
Abu Bakar al-Siddiq, Walid, Abdul Rahman bin Auf, Haris bin Amr, Abbas dan lain-lain lagi merupakan tokoh-tokoh saudagar Islam yang terkaya yang dihormati dan disegani. Kota raya Baghdad, Fustat, Toledo, Cordova dan lain-lainnya telahpun mempunyai penduduk yang melebihi satu juta orang menjadi saksi kemakmuran dan kepesatan perkembangan perdagangan pada zaman itu. Saudagar-saudagar Islam telah mengembara ke Siberia, Turkistan, Qairawan dan tiada pelosok dunia yang tidak dijelalah oleh mereka. Di samping menjalankan perdagangan, mereka juga menjalankan fungsi yang lebih suci iaitu menyebarkan dakwah Islamiyyah. Jalan perdagangan seluruh dunia dikuasai oleh bangsa Arab sebelum Islam diperkukuhkan lagi oleh Islam di zaman Rasulullah SAW. dan para sahabat.
TOKOH-TOKOH KORPORAT MUSLIM
Ramai sahabat-sahabat Rasulullah s.a.w. yang telah berjaya sebagai pedagang dan peniaga walaupun pada awalnya mereka menghadapi banyak kesukaran dan rintangan. Malah boleh dikatakan bahawa Rasulullah telah berjaya melahirkan satu masyarakat perdagangan yang tumbuh dengan cepat selepas penghijrahan baginda ke Madinah.
Rasulullah sebagai ketua negara telah memberikan motivasi dan galakan kepada rakyat negara Islam dalam hal perdagaangan. Sabda nabi yang bermaksud:
“Didorong atas kamu ialah perniagaan kerana di dalamnya ialah sembilan persepuluh daripada rezeki.
Othman Bin Affan
Beliau merupakan seorang sahabat yang mempunyai latarbelakang pendidikan yang baik dan merupakan di antara sejumlah kecil yang mampu membaca dan menulis di Mekah. Apabila beliau dewasa beliau telah membabitkan diri dengan kegiatan perniagaan dan berjaya memperolehi keuntungan yang banyak.
Apabila beliau berhijrah ke Madinah beliau telah membantu umat Islam yang dalam kesusahan dengan membeli sebuah telaga kepunyaan seorang Yahudi dengan harga 35,000 dirham kerana orang Yahudi tidak membenarkan orang Islam menggunakannya.
Zubair Bin Awwam
Semasa hijrah Rasulullah s.a.w. ke Madinah Zubair telah pergi ke Syria untuk berniaga. Kemudian beliau mengikut jejak Rasulullah s.a.w.ke Madinah dan meninggakan segala hasil perniagaannya di Mekah.
Semasa beberapa tahun di Madinah Zubair hanya memperolehi pendapatan yang sedikit dari bidang pertanian. Dia terpaksa menghadapi banyak rintangan dan dugaan. Kemudian berkat kesabaran dan ketabahan beliau telah memulakan bidang perniagaan dan akhirnya menjadi orang kaya di Madinah.
Abdul Rahman Bin Auf
Beliau merupakan seorang pedagang yang cekap dan pandai berniaga. Beliau merupakan pedagang yang terkaya di Mekah. Apabila beliau memeluk Islam beliau telah meninggalkan segala hartanya dan ikut berhijrah ke Madinah.
Sampai di Madinah beliau terus mencari pasar untuk berniaga dan mampu bersaing dengan golongan pedagang yang sudah lama berdagang disana dan kemudian menjadi kaya.
Pernah seseorang bertanya kepada Abdul Rahman Bin Auf: “Apakah sebabnya maka tuan menjadi kaya?” Abdul Rahman Bin Auf menjawab: “Kerana tiga perkara: Aku tidak pernah menolak keuntungan walaupun sedikit. Aku tidak pernah melambatkan penjualan haiwan daripada orang yang memintanya daripadaku. Dan aku tidak menjual dengan tangguhan pembayaran.”
Dalam satu riwayat dikatakan bahawa Abdul Rahman Bin Auf menjual seribu ekor unta. Dari perniagaan itu beliau hanya mengambil keuntungan dari tali pengikatnya sahaja. Lalu dijualnya setiap tali itu dengan harga satu dirham, maka beliaupun memperolehi keuntungan satu dirham dari seekor unta. Tetapi dalam satu hari beliau berjaya menjual keseluruhan untanya dan memperolehi keuntungan sebanyak seribu dirham.

Jose at San Siro to discuss Inter job
Jose Mourinho's personal advisor has confirmed the former Chelsea boss has flown to Italy to hold discussions with Inter Milan about becoming the club's manager.
Mourinho and his agent Jorge Mendes flew to the city yesterday to hold negotiations with Inter chairman Roberto Moratti. Eladio Parames told PA Sport: 'It is true they are in Italy and will return to Lisbon on Saturday.' The 44-year-old Portuguese has been linked with a host of European clubs since he left Chelsea in September last year. And Parames claimed it was Inter who made the initial contact, weeks after current coach Roberto Mancini said he was going to step down only to renege on that decision 24 hours later. Parames added: 'Of course, it was Inter who contacted Mourinho and his agent, not Mourinho contacting them. 'He [Mourinho] always showed interest in working in Italy, and he received the contact with pleasure.' The news comes days after Moratti indicated he was not looking to replace Mancini in the summer despite defeat against Juventus last weekend. Moratti said: 'I was not furious about the defeat. I continue to believe that this is a winning group. Mancini should be calm, as I do not have any planned meetings with Mourinho.' Meanwhile, Luis Figo is close to reaching an agreement to extend his stay with the Italian champions, according to the player's agent Miguel Macedo. 'He feels very well in Milan,' Macedo told PA Sport. 'These reports about Mourinho have nothing to do with Luis Figo's interest in staying with Inter. Mourinho and his agent Jorge Mendes flew to the city yesterday to hold negotiations with Inter chairman Roberto Moratti. Eladio Parames told PA Sport: 'It is true they are in Italy and will return to Lisbon on Saturday.' The 44-year-old Portuguese has been linked with a host of European clubs since he left Chelsea in September last year. And Parames claimed it was Inter who made the initial contact, weeks after current coach Roberto Mancini said he was going to step down only to renege on that decision 24 hours later. Parames added: 'Of course, it was Inter who contacted Mourinho and his agent, not Mourinho contacting them. 'He [Mourinho] always showed interest in working in Italy, and he received the contact with pleasure.' The news comes days after Moratti indicated he was not looking to replace Mancini in the summer despite defeat against Juventus last weekend. Moratti said: 'I was not furious about the defeat. I continue to believe that this is a winning group. Mancini should be calm, as I do not have any planned meetings with Mourinho.' Meanwhile, Luis Figo is close to reaching an agreement to extend his stay with the Italian champions, according to the player's agent Miguel Macedo. 'He feels very well in Milan,' Macedo told PA Sport. 'These reports about Mourinho have nothing to do with Luis Figo's interest in staying with Inter. Holla... I never heard this song. A few days ago my friend put the link for this video. For the 1st time i do not understand what is the song coz it have the slow rhythm. suddenly i heard the singer said "Dan izinkan aku memeluk dirimu kali ini saja Tuk ucapkan selamat tinggal untuk selamanya" Damn..
